Paddy’s Palace in Belfast represents the best value for your money in Northern Ireland and we do our utmost to ensure that your say will be a quality one you’ll fondly remember, where value and convenience are key.

Belfast is a fascinating city which has undergone a transformation in recent years and our staff will be happy to give you information on what to see and how to make the most of your visit to Northern Ireland’s capital.

Our dorms feature between two and twelve beds and the hostel features a large kitchen and sizable walled garden, which even includes an actual World War II bomb shelter!

At Paddy’s Palace Belfast, we hope you enjoy your stay at the hostel in a comfortable environment which is both clean and safe (it helps that we can’t be beaten on price either!). You’ll have the opportunity to meet friends old and new as our guests hail from across the globe and we’ll do everything we can to help you experience the best Belfast has to offer.

Black Taxi Tours

There’s no better way to explore the Troubles and how they affected Belfast than on a black taxi tour of the city, which we’ll be more than happy to arrange. These fascinating excursions to the Peace Wall and the famous Belfast murals will introduce you to what life was like for people on both sides of the community in recent decades.

We’ve been approved by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, and you can rest assured that all tours we arrange on your behalf will be of the highest standard.

The Giant’s Causeway Day Tour

Every day of the year except Christmas, we run tours from Belfast along the stunning Antrim coast where our guests can see the beautiful sandy beaches and rugged sea cliffs of Northern Ireland where they meet the rolling green pastures of the countryside during guided tours designed to entertain and inform in equal measure.

The tour takes you to what many consider to be the eighth Wonder of the Natural World and Northern Ireland’s biggest attraction, the Giant’s Causeway. During this tour you’ll not only learn the science of the Causeway (it was formed by volcanoes 60 million years ago), but the legend as well. Irish myth says the great warrior Finn McCool built the Causeway as a bridge to Scotland so he could challenge a giant. Some of the tales even say he was dressed as a baby when he overcame his foe!

The tour leaves from the bus stop in front of the the Europa Hotel at 10am and make its way to the Causeway Coast, returning to Belfast around 5pm.

Tour price starts at £22 for students and £25 for adults.
