Cork is Ireland’s second largest city and brings together the charm of a small town with the excitement of a cosmopolitan city which hosts some of the country’s biggest and most lively events and festivals.
Located in the quaint Shandon area of Cork City, home to the famous Shandon Bells right overhead, Kinlay House Cork is located within easy walking distance of the major attractions of the city as well as central shopping, bars, and restaurants. The Firkin Crane Centre and Cork Butter Museum are also located just around the corner.
The major cultural highlights of the city, including the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork Opera House, Triskel Arts Centre, Everyman Palace Theatre, and Neptune Stadium are all nearby. Patrick Street, Cork’s main street and principal shopping area, is located within easy reach, as is the world famous English Market. University College Cork is located 20 minutes away by foot, and you’ll pass Saint Finbarre’s Cathedral along the way.
