Paddy’s Palace Dublin
Paddy’s Palace Dublin is located just minutes from the Luas Red Line (tram), Connolly Station (one of Dublin’s major intercity & DART train stations), and the central bus station (Busaras). Paddy’s Palace is within easy reach of all of the city’s biggest attractions and shopping areas.
Housed in a Georgian home dating to 1792, this hostel has been refurbished in recent years and is perfect for exploring Dublin and beyond due to our tours and the nearby transit links. Buses from both Dublin Airport and Dublin’s North Wall ferry port stop at the central bus station Busaras. The DART train services Connolly Station and connects to the Dun Laoghaire ferry port and the atmospheric seaside villages of the Dublin Bay Area (E.g. Howth, Malahide, Dalkey, Killiney).
Paddy’s Palace is a hub of activity, conversation, and laughter in a wide range of languages, reflecting our international clientele. Free walking tours are available and our hostel is the Dublin HQ of Paddywagon tours, Ireland’s largest tour bus company. Paddywagon operates 10 guided bus tours from Paddy’s Palace to attractions across the length and breadth of Ireland. This is the only hostel in Ireland which also operates its own range of comfortable sightseeing coaches.
Our beautiful Georgian era building was constructed by James Gandon in 1792, one of the most prolific architects in Irish history. Paddy’s Palace is located right across the road from the elegant Custom House, which was also built by Gandon and is one of the most striking buildings of that era in Dublin.
We hope you enjoy your stay!
